Life Groups
at CBC
CBC
offers a variety of ways you can connect to other
people through Life Groups, which range
from support groups to in-depth Bible studies to discipleship
groups. Some groups meet at the church while others
meet in the more intimate and personal setting of
a home.
What is a Life Group?
At CBC, a Life Group is a small community of believers
within a large church, where life-on-life ministry
takes place. Life Groups are to be…
• Devoted to the apostles’ teaching (understanding
God’s word)
• In fellowship together
• Breaking bread together
• Praying together
One desired result of Life Groups will be that people
who don’t know Christ will desire to become
part of the community of believers.
Life Groups are divided into two categories based
on the location of their meeting.
Church-Based
- groups meeting at the church, on Sundays as well
as during the week.
Home-Based
- groups meeting in homes throughout the valley.
