CBC offers a variety of ways you can
connect to other people through Life Groups,
which range from support groups to in-depth
Bible studies to discipleship groups. Some
groups meet at the church while others meet
in the more intimate and personal setting
of a home.
What is a Life Group?
At CBC, a Life Group is a small community
of believers within a large church, where
life-on-life ministry takes place. Life
Groups are to be…
• Devoted to the apostles’ teaching (understanding
God’s word)
• In fellowship together
• Breaking bread together
• Praying together
One desired result of Life Groups will be
that people who don’t know Christ will desire
to become part of the community of believers.
Life Groups are divided into three categories
based on the meeting location and group emphasis.
Church-Based
- groups meeting at the church, on Sundays
as well as during the week. For more information about Church-Based Life Groups, contact Pastor Nanda.
Community-Based
- groups meeting in homes throughout the
valley. For more information about Community-Based Life Groups, contact John.
Outreach-Based - groups meeting at the church or throughout the valley with an emphasis on reaching out to the community. For more information about Outreach-Based Life Groups, contact Tom.
