Access ACS is a web-based online church management system that we are ready to roll out to members and regular attendees of Crossroads Bible Church. The goal is to provide our church family with an online directory (including photos), access to CBC's master calendar and information about all of our available Life Groups. In addition, you'll be able to manage your personal information and view your personal contribution history. We trust you'll find that access to this information will be very useful to you and your family. The following Guide has been designed to help you get started using the system.

Sign-up/Log-in Instructions to AccessACS
-
- Bookmark the login page so that you can return easily
- On the right side under New User Login, enter your First Name, Last Name and Email Address (the address that CBC has on record). The system matches your inputs with CBC’s records and will issue you, via email, a User Name and temporary Password.
Note: If the system cannot enroll you, or if you've never provided us with an email address, please phone the church office at 288-4115, email to Irene or fax us at 288-4132 with your email address. Allow 2 business days for us to update your record.
- Return to the login page. On the left side, enter your User Name and temporary Password to log in. You might need to enter the CBC site number (111281). Change your Password immediately.
- You are now ready to use AccessACS.
You can request help at any point by clicking on Help at the top right of your screen. However, be aware that Help might describe features of AccessACS that you are not authorized to use.
Getting started from the AccessACS main page
From the Overview tab in the top row, you can directly access My Giving History, My Complete Profile and the Calendar described below.
Accessing Life Group information
- You can also explore the Life Groups at Available Small Groups on the main page. Click here and you can view all available groups or perform a Life Group search according to various criteria.
- Once the selected list of Life Groups appears, you can click on the group name to see a detailed screen on that Life Group.
- And from there, you can view a roster of the group, view a map of where the group meets, and send a message or info request to the group leader.
We encourage you to find and join a CBC Life Group that matches your age, family situation or location - get connected!
Viewing/changing Personal Profile Info
-
Move your cursor to the My Profile tab in the top row. This will show a drop-down menu.
- Under My Complete Profile, you can view your profile and edit various entries by clicking on the Pencil icon to the right of your name.
- You can also view the profiles of other family members listed to the right of your name. Remember that your edits are a 'change request' to the system, and will only appear once they are approved and uploaded to the master database, typically within 2 business days. For the items in your record that are not modifiable online, you may submit a change request via email to Irene or via fax at 288-4132.
- Under My Giving History, you can view your recorded contribution history over various time periods.
- Under My Personal Preferences, you can change your password. You can also choose to 'hide' your address, phone number, email address or photo from the Church Family or Individual Directories.
Accessing the Membership Directory
- Move your cursor to the Directories tab in the top row. You can select which style of directory you would like to view.
- The Family Pictorial Directory is the standard format of names, address, phone and photo.
- The Individual Online Directory has one entry per person and includes the person's email address.
- Click the Preview button, and a new window will be opened in Adobe Acrobat to view the Directory in PDF format. If you are running a pop-up blocker, you will have to temporarily disable it to view the Directory. You can print any/all pages of the Directory from within Adobe Acrobat. Note that the complete Family Pictorial Directory is over 50 pages in length.
Accessing the Church Calendar
- Move your cursor to the Calendar tab in the top row. This will show a drop-down menu.
- Under Calendar View, you will see the current month's calendar in standard one-week-per-row format.

NOTE: The confidentiality of your data is our utmost priority. Only the data that we would generally print in a church directory is available via secured access to others in our church family. Furthermore, you can “opt out” of the online system by setting your personal preferences, or by notifying us at ihand@cbclife.org or via fax at 288-4132. Our software provider is ACS Technologies, the largest developer of church management software in the industry. They have a secured website that we access which is housed in a secured data center and is subject to periodic security audits to ensure the safety and privacy of our data.
