Our strategy:
Crossroads Bible Church is all about “transforming lives through Christ to impact the world.” We believe - both biblically and experientially - that spiritual transformation is a process. Therefore, we have developed a simple process that would facilitate the process of spiritual transformation in people. To accomplish this, we have adopted a simple discipleship process that moves people through four stages of spiritual growth - loving, connecting, growing and serving.
LOVING (Worship): We were planned for God's pleasure - loving God
Our process of transforming lives begins with the first step: Loving (Mark 12:30; John 4:24; Revelation 5:12-13), and the weekend worship services help people to do that. The worship service is where people draw close to God through inspiring worship and dynamic biblical teaching.
CONNECTING (Fellowship): We were formed for God's family
The second step in the process is Connecting (Ephesians 2:19-21; Romans 15:5-7). There are ministry opportunities to connect relationally with others within the body. It takes place through planned fellowship activities.
GROWING (Discipleship): We were created to become like Christ
The third step in the process is Growing (1 John 2:4-6; Romans 12:1-2). It takes place in the small group setting where life-on-life happens. Some small groups meet on campus on Sundays or weekdays and others meet off campus in homes. People are encouraged to plug into one group.
SERVING (Outreach): We were made for a mission
The fourth step in the process is Serving (John 13:34-35; Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 5:16; Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 5:21-21; 2 Corinthians 2:14-15), and the ministry teams engage people in ministry. People will have the opportunity to serve others within the body and those are in the community for the purpose of sharing the Gospel.
Our goal as a local body of believers is to move people from ministry opportunity to ministry opportunity so people naturally progress through the process of spiritual transformation to impact the world with the message of love and hope.
“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7
